Johnson was a catalyst for the Flashes big weekend for the Flashes offense, Kent State scored 41 runs on the weekend with Johnson driving in 9 and scoring five more runs. Johnson stole a bag and handled all six chances in the field while posting a robust .467 on base percentage.
 
MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Keegan Johnson, Ball State, LHP

Johnson compiled 10 strikeouts in 6.0 shutout inning in Ball State's 2-0 win at Miami (OH) on Saturday afternoon. The freshman left-handed pitcher struck out the side in the fifth inning and had at least one punchout in every inning to lead the Cardinals to their eighth straight win. Johnson increased his season strikeout total to 47 and record to 4-0 with the shutdown effort.
