CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference today announced its volleyball schedule for the 2024 season. This marks the first integration of the new conference schedule format. The new format will incorporate protected opponents based on geographic location and rivalries and eliminates the MAC East and West Divisions. Each team plays 18 total matches, nine of which come at home while the other half will be on the road.
 
The 2024 conference season will begin on Saturday, September 26 with two contests as Miami hosts Central Michigan, while Eastern Michigan travels to Kent State. The MAC Volleyball championship format remains the same as previous seasons, with the tournament's no. 1 seed serving as host to the MAC's top six squads. The 2024 MAC Volleyball Championship dates will be announced at a later date.
