MAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Sisi Eleko, Eastern Michigan, Forward

The MAC's leading scorer, Eleko averaged a double-double last week with 27.0 points and 10.5 rebounds. After scoring a career-high 31 points and adding 14 rebounds at Detroit Mercy, Eleko finished with 23 points and seven boards against Xavier. 
 
In the game with the Musketeers, Eleko scored just two points in the first half before scoring 21 in the second half to help EMU from a 20-point deficit to a 12-point win, the first of the season for the Eagles. Additionally, she was 6-of-11 from three, marking the first time in her career she has connected on 2+ made triples in back-to-back games while extending her streak to a career-best five consecutive games with at least one made three-pointer. 
 
All told, Eleko is one of only two players in NCAA Division I averaging 21.0+ points and 12.0+ rebounds per game this season.
