BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Isaiah Adams scored 16 points and Isaac Jack secured the victory with a free throw with 47 seconds left as Buffalo knocked off Miami (OH) 68-63 on Friday night.
Adams added five rebounds for the Bulls (15-16, 9-9 Mid-American Conference). LaQuill Hardnett scored 13 points and added five rebounds. Zid Powell recorded 12 points and was 3 of 15 shooting, including 0 for 4 from distance, and went 6 for 7 from the line.
Anderson Mirambeaux led the way for the RedHawks (12-19, 6-12) with 18 points. Morgan Safford added 14 points for Miami (OH). Mekhi Lairy also recorded 11 points and seven assists.
Adams scored six points in the first half and Buffalo went into halftime trailing 38-29. Hardnett scored a team-high 12 points for Buffalo in the second half. Buffalo outscored Miami (OH) by 14 points over the final half.

KENT, Ohio (AP) Sincere Carry scored 35 points, including 11 in the overtime, as Kent State took down Akron 89-84 on Friday night.
Carry was 9 of 18 shooting, including 3 for 6 from distance, and went 14 for 15 from the line for the Golden Flashes (25-6, 15-3 Mid-American Conference). Chris Payton scored 22 points while going 9 of 10 and 4 of 4 from the free throw line, and added seven rebounds. Malique Jacobs shot 4 of 8 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line to finish with 11 points, while adding six rebounds.
The Zips (21-10, 13-5) were led by Sammy Hunter, who recorded 26 points. Enrique Freeman added 25 points and 12 rebounds for Akron. Xavier Castaneda also had 13 points and five assists.
Carry scored 14 points in the first half for Kent State, who led 36-32 at the break. Kent State was outscored by four points in the second half and the teams finished regulation tied 72-72. Carry scored his 11 overtime points while shooting 2 of 2 from the field and 7 for 8 from the line.

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) Zarigue Nutter scored 19 points as Northern Illinois beat Eastern Michigan 85-66 on Friday.
Nutter was 8 of 11 shooting, including 2 for 3 from distance, and went 1 for 3 from the line for the Huskies (13-18, 9-9 Mid-American Conference). Kaleb Thornton scored 17 points while going 6 of 14 (4 for 7 from distance), and added six rebounds and 11 assists. Darweshi Hunter recorded 13 points and was 5 of 9 shooting (3 for 5 from distance).
Tyson Acuff led the Eagles (8-23, 5-13) in scoring, finishing with 26 points and three steals. Emoni Bates, ranked 28th in scoring nationally, finished with just six points on 3-of-14 shooting. Bates nearly averaged a double-double in two games last week with 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds.
Toledo 87, Ball State 81

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) Rayj Dennis' 32 points led Toledo over Ball State 87-81 on Friday night.
Dennis also had seven assists for the Rockets (25-6, 16-2 Mid-American Conference). Setric Millner Jr. scored 13 points while going 5 of 11 (1 for 3 from distance), and added five rebounds. JT Shumate recorded 12 points and was 4 of 8 shooting and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. It was the 15th straight victory for the Rockets.
The Cardinals (20-11, 11-7) were led by Payton Sparks, who posted 24 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. Jaylin Sellers added 14 points and six rebounds for Ball State. In addition, Demarius Jacobs finished with 12 points and six assists.
RayJ Dennis' 17-point second half helped Toledo close out the six-point victory.
Western Michigan 81, Central Michigan 65

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) Tray Maddox Jr. had 22 points in Western Michigan's 81-65 victory over Central Michigan on Friday night.
Maddox also had five rebounds and five assists for the Broncos (8-23, 4-14 Mid-American Conference). Lamar Norman Jr. scored 18 points and added six assists. Markeese Hastings shot 7 for 16, including 0 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points, while adding 15 rebounds.
The Chippewas (10-21, 5-13) were led by Markus Harding, who recorded 18 points. Central Michigan also got 16 points, five assists and two steals from Reggie Bass. Brian Taylor also had 15 points, six rebounds and six assists.
Western Michigan took the lead with one second remaining in the first half and did not relinquish it. The score was 31-29 at halftime, with Norman racking up 14 points. Western Michigan extended its lead to 59-48 during the second half, fueled by a 7-0 scoring run. Maddox scored a team-high 17 points in the second half as his team closed out the win.
Ohio 92, Bowling Green 58

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) Dwight Wilson had 20 points in Ohio's 92-58 win against Bowling Green on Friday night.
Wilson also contributed seven rebounds for the Bobcats (18-13, 10-8 Mid-American Conference). Elmore James scored 17 points while going 6 of 9 and 5 of 5 from the free throw line. AJ Brown shot 5 for 11, including 3 for 8 from beyond the arc to finish with 14 points.
Samari Curtis led the way for the Falcons (11-20, 5-13) with 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Bowling Green also got 11 points from Leon Ayers III. Brenton Mills also recorded eight points.
Ohio took the lead with 18:06 remaining in the first half and did not give it up. The score was 54-26 at halftime, with AJ Clayton racking up 12 points. Ohio pulled away with a 25-3 run in the second half to extend a 10-point lead to 32 points. They outscored Bowling Green by six points in the final half, as Brown led the way with a team-high 14 second-half points.
