AI Campbell Invite, 60m Hurdles-1st, 8.14, 7th in MAC
Michael Parks ran a personal best mark and won the 60HH at the Al Campbell Invitational. His time is the 8th fasted in UB program history.
 
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Hunter Garretson, Akron, Sophomore
AI Campbell Invitational, PV-1st, 18-2.50/4.55m, 1/9
Akron redshirt sophomore pole vaulter Hunter Garretson turned in another stellar effort at the Al Campbell Invitational on Friday, Feb. 17, eclipsing 18-2.50 (5.55m) to win the event. His effort stands as the top performance in the MAC this season and No. 9 overall effort in the NCAA this spring. His clearance also equals the No. 3 mark in Akron indoor program history behind only Olympians Shawn Barber and Matt Ludwig.
 
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Alysse Wade, Eastern Michigan , Grad Student
Silverston Invitational , 60 meter hurdles - (1st place), 8.50, 3rd best in MAC this season 
Wade won the 60 meter hurdles in 8.50 at the Silverston Invitational at the University of Michigan.

Silverston Invitational, Shot Put: 1st, 55-0.00 (16.76m), 1st/14th
Zaresha Neal won the shot put at Friday's Silverston Invitational, hosted by the University of Michigan. Neal threw a mark of 55-0.00 (16.76m), which is her second-best of the season and secured her fourth first-place finish of the year. This ranks 13th in program history, giving Neal five of the top 15 and eight of the top 20 shot put marks in the Falcon record book.
