CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday the 2023 Volleyball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 82 student-athletes were named to this year’s squad.
Western Michigan led the way this season with 11 total honorees, while Ball State and Bowling Green each had nine members on their respective rosters. The Broncos' 11 Academic All-MAC selections serves as a new Mid-American Conference record.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
