Two Minute Drill
• Toledo extended its winning streak to five games with a 41-24 non-conference victory at UMass last week. The Rockets had to rally from a 21-17 halftime deficit, outscoring the Minutemen 24-3 in the second half. The win made Toledo 5-1 for the first time since 2017. It is also the first time the Rockets have won five straight since the 2017 season when they also won five in a row. The Rockets could become bowl eligible this weekend with a win at Ball State.

• Miami defeated Bowling Green 27-0 last Saturday to remain unbeaten in MAC play. The RedHawks posted their first shutout since 2007 and extended their longest winning streak in 20 years to five games. The RedHawks could become bowl eligible this weekend with a win at Western Michigan.

• Ohio also extended its winning streak to five games with a 42-17 win against Kent State. The win helped the Bobcats move to 2-0 in MAC play for the first time since 2016. The Bobcats could become bowl eligible this weekend with a win at Northern Illinois.

• A historic day from Buffalo sophomore safety Devin Grant helped the Bulls move to 2-0 in conference play for the second-straight season and the fifth time in program history with a 37-13 win over Central Michigan. Grant had three interceptions, including two pick sixes.

• Northern Illinois running back Antario Brown posted a huge performance in the Huskies’ 55-14 win over Akron last week, running for a career-high 280 yards and four touchdowns on just 13 carries to earn MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week honors. Brown became just the sixth player in NIU history to rush for 280 yards in a game and his 21.5 yards per rush set a new program record. Additionally, his four rushing touchdowns were the most by a Huskie since 2016.
