Anthony Noto, Lock Haven, 125 lbs.

Over the weekend, the redshirt sophomore Anthony Noto continued his stellar season. He cruised to the 125-pound title at the David Lehman F&M Open, racking up a 5-0 record behind one pin, one tech fall and one major decision. In the championship bout, the Bald Eagle rolled to a convincing 6-2 victory over North Carolina's 33rd-ranked Jack Wagner. Noto's record now stands at 17-2 on the year, and he sat at No. 20 in the latest InterMat rankings.

Greg Hodulick, Buffalo, 285 lbs.
Graduate, Islip, NY (Islip)
Greg Hodulick earned his first pin of the season in dramatic fashion to help the Bulls defeat SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday. With the Bulls trailing the Cougars, 16-12, heading into the final match, Hodulick pinned Dan McKiernan with just 2.7 seconds left in the third period to earn six points and lift the Bulls to the 18-16 victory.
Alex Cramer, Central Michigan, 174 lbs.
RS Junior, Grayslake, Ill. (Grayslake)
Central Michigan's Alex Cramer posted an exciting come-from-behind 11-7 victory over John Worthing during the Chippewas' MAC dual with Clarion on Sunday. Cramer, a redshirt junior who is ranked eighth in the MAC, trailed 7-5 with 20 seconds remaining when he scored a takedown and a four-point near fall to post the dramatic victory over the fifth-ranked Worthing. It was Cramer's third consecutive win and his fifth in his last six matches as he improved to 15-8.
Kyle Schickel, Clarion, 149 kbs.
Sophomore, Lemont, Ill. (Lemont)
Kyle Schickel helped spark the Golden Eagles to a dual match victory on the road against Central Michigan, with the sophomore upsetting Johnny Lovett in the 149-pound bout with a stunning win by fall. Lovett entered the weekend as a national ranking honorable mention by FloWrestling, and was the second-ranked 149-pounder in the MAC according to the December rankings. Schickel trailed 4-2 entering the third period but was able to toss Lovett to the mat and eventually worked him for the pin, turning the tables and giving the Golden Eagles a 13-3 advantage in the team match at that point. Clarion went on to win the dual by a 25-12 score.
Gabe Phillips , Cleveland State, 184 lbs.
Sophomore, Norwalk, OH, Norwalk
Picked up a 9-2 victory against Lake Erie at 184 pounds, followed by a third-place finish at the Bobby Kaufman Open. At the Open, Phillips went 3-1 with 2 falls and a major decision.
Jared McGill, Edinboro,
R-Jr., Osterburg, Pa. (Chestnut Ridge)
McGill made his return to the Edinboro lineup in a big way after being out since Dec. 18. He defeated No. 13 Darrien Roberts of Oklahoma 4-0 on Jan. 7. McGill was dominant in the top position riding Roberts out in the second period before scoring an escape and takedown in the third to claim the victory. He ran his record to 9-1 on the season.
Matthew Zuber, NIU, 184 lbs.
Junior, Chicago, Ill. (Fenwick)
Junior Matthew Zuber of the Northern Illinois University wrestling team (5-3, 2-0 MAC) went 2-0 at this past weekend’s Cal Baptist double dual which featured the Lancers, NIU, and No. 19 South Dakota State at Van Dyne Gym in Riverside, Calif.In NIU’s dual against the Jackrabbits, Zuber gave the Huskies a shot of adrenaline at 184 after he knocked off No. 16 Cade King in a high scoring 12-8 upset, marking his 11th victory in an NIU singlet. Not done yet though, Zuber kept his momentum going in the following dual against Cal Baptist. The Huskies’ 184 starter was knotted 1-1 with Peter Acciardi as the final seconds of the third period ticked off the clock. In overtime, Zuber executed a timely takedown at 1:42 to earn his second win and remain perfect on the day.
Sal Perrine, Ohio, 174 lbs.
Sophomore, Northfield, Ohio (Nordonia)
Perrine recorded one of the Bobcats' three wins against the Mountaineers on Friday (Jan. 6). After a hard fought bout, the sophomore went into overtime against West Virginia's Brody Conley, ultimately taking home a 3-1 win in the first sudden victory period. Conley was a formidable opponent, notably finishing third at the 2022 Ken Kraft Midlands Championships earlier this season.
