Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) will host its 2022 Football Kickoff on Tuesday, July 26 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio from 9:00 am ET/8:00 am CT to 1:30 pm ET/12:30 pm CT.
 
The MAC Football Kickoff will launch the 2022 season, which officially begins on Thursday, Sep. 1, and will conclude with the 2022 MAC Football Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Noon ET/11 am CT (ESPN).
 
MAC Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher will be joined by the head coaches from each member institution as well as two student-athlete representatives. Steinbrecher will begin the Kickoff with address to the media LIVE on ESPN+ at 11:00 am ET. The ESPN+ production will highlight the league's annual kickoff event as hosts Michael Reghi and Je’Rod Cherry will visit with all MAC head coaches and several student-athletes throughout the day.
 
MAC Football fans around the country will be able to watch the live show previewing the upcoming 2022 season and will also have the opportunity to interact with the head coaches, student-athletes, and league office regarding media day. The Conference will post updates throughout the day using its Twitter (@MACSports), Instagram (@MACSports), Facebook (@GetSomeMACtion) and TikTok (@MACSports) feeds.
