Las Vegas, Nev. -- Toledo safety Tycen Anderson, cornerback Samuel Womack and Miami's Dominique Robinson were selected on day three of the 2022 NFL Draft. Anderson was taken in the 5th round with the 166th overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals, while Womack was selected with the 172nd pick (5th round) by the San Francisco 49ers. Robinson rounded out the day three selections after being drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 5th round with the 174th overall pick.
A two-time All-MAC honoree, Anderson played in 55 games over five years in his Toledo career, tallying 237 tackles. He earned his bachelor's degree in the fall of 2020 and is currently pursuing his MBA.
Womack, who played his high school ball at East English Village Prep in Detroit, came to Toledo as a walk-on but quickly made an impact on the team. In 2020, he was a nominee for the Burlsworth Trophy as the best player in the nation who began his career as a walk-on.
Robinson played 48 games in his career, seeing action at multiple positions. The Canton, Ohio native came to Miami in 2017 as a quarterback, before transitioning to wide receiver midway through his first spring season. He had 27 catches for 446 yards and four touchdowns from 2018 and 2019. He moved to defensive end during the 2020 campaign and despite playing just three games, had nine tackles, 2.0 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss in the shorted COVID-19 season. In 2021, Robinson saw action in 12 games, recording career bests in tackles (28), sacks (2.5), tackles for loss (6.5) and quarterback hurries (4).
