MAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Zakiyah Winfield, Guard, Buffalo
Fifth year guard Zakiyah Winfield continues to lead the Bulls on both ends of the floor as she recorded a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds to go with three assists and three steals to propel the Bulls to a big win over Bucknell on Tuesday. Winfield leads the Bulls in scoring (14.4 ppg) and rebounding (10.8 rpg) and assists (3.6 apg). The Reading, PA native ranks second in the MAC in rebounding (10.8), third in field goal percentage (.479), sixth in assists per game (3.6) and 10th in scoring (14.4 ppg).
