MAC Announces Men's Soccer All-MAC & Specialty Award Winners

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Mid-American Conference announced its 2022 men's soccer All-MAC teams, Player of the Year, Co-Goalkeepers of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year on Thursday, as voted by the league's head coaches.

Akron's Jared Embick was named MAC Coach of the Year, while Western Michigan's Daniel Nimick was named the MAC Player of the Year. Bowling Green's Brendan Graves and Western Michigan's Hunter Morse took home Co-Goalkeepers of the Year honors, while Western Michigan's Carson Hodgson rounded out the Speciality Awards by being named the Freshman of the Year.

In addition, the All-MAC First Team & Second Teams were announced. 

The MAC Men's Soccer Championship will take place on Saturday, November 12 at FirstEnergy Stadium as No. 1 Akron hosts No. 2 Western Michigan at 1 pm ET (ESPN+). The winner will take home the MAC title and will earn a spot in the upcoming NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.
