CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Four Mid-American Conference student-athletes were chosen in last night’s Major League Soccer SuperDraft. Bowling Green defender Joey Akpunonu was chosen in the first round with the 22^nd overall pick by FC Cincinnati. Western Michigan had three student-athletes chosen: defender Daniel Nimick was chosen in the second round with the 42^nd overall pick by FC Vancouver. WMU goalkeeper Hunter Morse will be teammates with BGSU's Akpunonu, selected by FC Cincinnati in the second round with the 51^st overall pick, while Bronco forward Charlie Sharp was taken by Toronto FC in round three with the 61^st overall pick.
