Josh Erlandson, Defender, Bowling Green
Bowling Green’s Josh Erlandson had two goals as the Falcons picked up a 3-1 road win against Northern Illinois. Erlandson, in his second season as a Falcon, entered the match with one career goal in 19 matches in a BG uniform. But, he scored what would prove to be the winning goal, knocking home a deflected shot after a BG corner kick for a 2-0 advantage in the 36th minute. Then, after the Huskies scored with under nine minutes to go in the match, Erlandson scored just 80 seconds later, getting his head on a diagonal ball in the box to restore the Falcons’ two-goal lead. Erlandson now has three goals and seven points – all coming this season – in his BGSU career.
