CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Mid-American Conference announced its 2021 women's soccer All-MAC teams, its Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Coach of the Year on Thursday, as voted by the league's head coaches.
Ohio's Aaron Rodgers was named MAC Coach of the Year, while Bowling Green's senior Madi Wolfbauer was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year. Kent State's Tianna Harris took homee Defensiive Player of the Year honors, whiile Toledo's McKenna Schultz has selected as the Freshman of the Year.
In addition, the All-MAC First Team & Second Team was announced, as well as the All-Freshman squad.
The MAC Women's Soccer Championship semifinals will take place later today as No. 1 Bowling Green takes on No. 4 Buffalo at 4 pm ET, while No. 2 Ohio will face off against No. 3 Kent State at 7 pm ET. The winner will take home the MAC title and will earn a spot in the upcoming NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
