UB: Buffalo is looking to start 3-0 in MAC play for the third time in program history...They started 6-0 in 2018 and 5-0 in 2013. The Bulls are averaging 45.5 points over the first two games of the season. They have scored 40+ points in six of their last seven conference games dating back to last season... Jaret Patterson is 81 yards shy of reaching Anthony Swan for third in school history in career rushing (3,103) and 118 yards shy of reaching James Starks for second in school history in career rushing (3,140).

BGSU: The Falcons are attempting to avoid their first 0-3 start since 2017, when they lost each of their first five games before defeating Miami in Oxford by a score of 37-29...True freshman Terion Stewart earned his first career carries in the fourth quarter against Kent State. He made the most of those chances, toting the rock 14 times for 162 yards and two touchdowns. The 162 rushing yards are the most for a BGSU true freshman in a game since Willie Geter rushed for 203 against the same Kent State program in 2007.

AKRON: RB Teon Dollard has gotten of smashing start to his Akron career rushing the ball running for a teambest 241 yards on 38 carries. His 165 yards against Ohio (Nov. 10) represented the highest single-game rushing total since Jawon Chisholm ran for 184 yards against Kent State on Nov. 28, 2014... LB Bubba Arslanian led the Zips with eight tackles vs. Ohio, including a pair of sacks, while contributing five, four and four tackles. Arslanian has had 10 or more total tackles in 10 of the last 14 games overall. He is rated 39th in the NCAA in tackles per game (9.5).

KSU: The Flashes put their six-game win streak on the line in theannual Battle for the Wagon Wheel as they take on Akron...Dustin Crum went 18-for-27 for 271 yards and four firs thalf touchdowns through the air vs. Bowling Green. The four touchdowns tied a career high. Running Back Bryan Bradford recorded his first 100-yard rushing game against BG, rolling up 113 yards on 13 carries.

NIU: NIU will look to reclaim the Bronze Stalk Trophy, which was created as a tribute to the rural areas surrounding both schools’ hometowns in 2008. After falling in the initial Trophy game, NIU won the next 10 games in the series before Ball State broke the Huskies’ winning streak with a seven-point win in DeKalb a year ago... One of two senior starters on the NIU defense, linebacker Kyle Pugh made 14 tackles and a career-high 1.5 quarterback sacks versus Central Michigan, the most for the sixth-year senior since the 2017 season opener (Sept. 1) when he had a career high 17 stops versus Boston College.

BSU:  Senior RB Caleb Huntley, coming off a career-best 204-yard performance against Eastern Michigan, has topped 100 yards rushing in six straight games and nine of his past 10 overall. If he reaches the century mark Wednesday, he would become the first BSU back with seven straight 100-yard games... Senior WR Justin Hall leads all FBS players in all-purpose yards per game this season (243.5). Hall had 246 in the opener at Miami and 241 against Eastern Michigan. He has 179 receiving yards, 87 rushing yards and 221 return yards through two games.

UT: Senior quarterback Eli Peters has completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 553 yards and five TDs. His only interception this season was a Hail Mary toss at the end of the WMU game. He ranks first in the MAC with 553 passing yards... Junior Bryant Koback leads the Rocket rushing attack with 152 yards and two touchdowns. He now has 2,256 career rushing yards, putting him at 16th on UT’s all-time list ahead of Mike Alston, Sr., who had 2,180 yards from 1976-79.

EMU: Eastern will finally see action on its home field Wednesday, Nov. 18, when Chris Creighton and company welcome MAC West rival Toledo to Rynearson Stadium. EMU is the only team in the conference that opened its season with two road games. Eastern has been all but perfect in its six home openers during the Chris Creighton era, claiming victory in five. The Eagles have outscored their opponents, 234-133, in the six games, and have won by more than 30 twice. Most recently, EMU bested Central Connecticut State, 34-29, to begin the 2019 campaign at Rynearson Stadium, Sept. 21.

WMU: A fake-spike touchdown pass from redshirt sophomore quarterback Kaleb Eleby to redshirt junior Jaylen Hall with 17 seconds left capped off Western Michigan football’s unbelievable comeback to defeat Toledo 41-38 on Wednesday night inside Waldo Stadium... Wednesday’s victory marked the first victory over Toledo for head coach Tim Lester and improved the Broncos overall record to 2-0.

CMU: CMU looks to go 3-0 to begin a season for the first time since 2016. The Chippewas began that year with wins over Presbyterian (49-3), at Oklahoma State (30-27) and against UNLV (44-21). The Maroon and Gold are 2-0 in conference action for the first time since 2009. CMU went 8-0 in MAC action that year. The Chippewas defeated Ohio, 30-27, to open the season in Kelly/Shorts Stadium and won at NIU last week, 40-10.

The Ohio at Miami game on Tuesday, November 17th has been canceled due to roster issues with the Ohio football team related to positive COVID-19 tests and subsequent contact tracing. The game has been declared a no contest.
