Offensive Player of the Week
Caleb Huntley, Ball State, RB
Senior, Atlanta, Ga. (Locust Grove)
Huntley ran for a career-high 204 yards and matched his career-best with three touchdowns in Ball State's 38-31 victory over Eastern Michigan. He scored the game-winning touchdown on a 1-yard plunge with 6 seconds left. Huntley carried the ball 34 times, one shy of his career high. He surpassed the 100-yard mark for the sixth straight game, tying a Ball State record, and became the first BSU player to top 200 yards since 2016. Through two games, Huntley leads the MAC in both rushing average (167) and touchdowns (5).
Defensive Player of the Week
Brandon Martin, Ball State, ILB, R-Jr.
Indianapolis, Ind., Lawrence North
Martin registered a career-high 15 tackles, including eight solo stops, in Ball State's 38-31 victory over Eastern Michigan. It was the second game back from Martin who sustained a season-ending injury in last year's season opener. Through two games, he leads the MAC in solo tackles (14) and ranks second in total tackles (26).
Special Teams Player of the Week
Marshall Meeder, Central Michigan, Kicker
Freshman, Eaton Rapids, Mich. (Eaton Rapids)
Meeder had a perfect day against Northern Illinois, going 6-for-6 on his kicks. The true freshman had a career-long 40-yard field goal and was a perfect 5-for-5 on PATs.
East Division
Offensive Player of the Week
Kyle Vantrease, Buffalo, QB
Junior, Stow, OH (Stow-Munroe Falls)
Vantrease threw for a career-high 353 yards and four touchdowns in Buffalo's 41-10 win over Miami (OH) on Tuesday night. Vantrease had passing touchdowns of 82, 78, 25 and five yards. The junior signal-caller was perfect in the second half, going 9-for-9 for 229 yards and three touchdowns.
Defensive Player of the Week
Keye Thompson, Ohio, Weakside Linebacker
Redshirt Sophomore, Barberton, Ohio (Barberton)
Thompson accounted for one of three takeaways for the Ohio football team (1-1, 1-1 MAC) as the Bobcats toppled Mid-American Conference East Division rival Akron (0-2, 0-2 MAC), 24-10, last Tuesday (Nov. 10) in the 2020 home opener at Peden Stadium. Thompson came away with his first career interception to put an end to Akron's second drive of the fourth quarter, helping the Bobcats seal the victory. He also finished the contest with six total tackles, including three solo stops and a sack, to tie for second on the team and also added two quarterback hurries.

Dom Dzioban, Miami, Punter
Freshman, Frankfort, Ill. (Lincoln Way East)
In just his second career game, Dom Dzioban played a major role with the Miami special teams. The freshman recorded a 44.3 punt average over six punts last week versus Buffalo. He downed four of those punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line
