Bowie and Robin Share Player of the Week Honors

MAC Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week
Anthony Bowie, Western Michigan

Forward, Senior, Grand Rapids, MI (Forest Hills Central)

Bowie scored 3 goals for the Broncos in two 4-0 victories and added two assists. He currently leads the conference on the season with 8 points.

Achille Robin, Bowling Green
Defender, Junior, Les Sables D’Olonne, France

Bowling Green junior defender Achille Robin contributed at both ends of the field as the Falcons beat two Big Ten Conference teams over the weekend. The defender helped the Falcons to a pair of clean sheets in wins over Wisconsin (1-0) and Northwestern (3-0) at NU's Lakeside Classic. Robin and the Falcons allowed the opponents only five combined shots on goal in 180 minutes of action. At the other end of the park, Robin drew a Northwestern foul in the box that led to a penalty kick and BG’s first goal on Sunday, and the junior then scored a slick goal of his own to double the lead en route to that three-goal win. Robin and the BGSU defense have now gone 325:13 without allowing a goal, as the Falcons have posted three-straight shutouts and surrendered just one goal in four matches this season. BG has a team GAA of just 0.24 this season to date.

He played all 90 minutes in both contests.
