BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University setter Molly Beatty has been selected to the Volleyball Canada U21 roster ahead of the NORCECA Pan American Volleyball Cup. Beatty continues a streak of three straight seasons a BGSU Falcon will compete with Team Canada following Jessica Andrews, who played in both 2024 and 2025, and Lauryn Hovey, who played in 2025. Hovey also played for Canada's U21 team in 2022.

"This opportunity is a reflection of the work Molly has put into her leadership and skill," said head Bowling Green volleyball coach Alex DelPiombo. "She's consistently challenged herself to improve and has embraced every opportunity to compete at a high level. We're incredibly proud to see her represent Canada and BGSU, and we know she'll make the most of this experience before bringing what she learns back to our program."

For Beatty, the honor comes after she was one of 18 athletes selected to attend the U21 women's training camp last season. This year, Beatty was again selected to the camp that ran from June 28-July 4 and was selected as one of 14 athletes to compete at the U21 Girls' Pan American Cup. Beatty and Team Canada are competing in Columbus. The NORCECA Women's U21 Pan American Cup began on July 5 and will run through July 13. Group play will conclude on July 9 with the Quarterfinals starting on July 10 with the full schedule available through the NORCECA Pan American Cup website.

Beatty joined the Falcons this past spring as an incoming transfer from Central Michigan. Now a sophomore, Beatty appeared in 46 sets over 19 matches for CMU as a freshman in 2025. She tallied 204 assists over the course of the season while adding 44 digs, seven blocks and five aces. She also tallied a double-double against Bradley with 20 assists and 11 digs.
