CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference has announced the 2026 Softball All-MAC Teams and Specialty Award Winners, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Akron head coach Craig Nicholson was tabbed Coach of the Year for the third time in his career after winning the award at Ball State in 2009 and 2013. Miami outfielder Bailey Manos took home Player of the Year honors and teammate Presley Hosick was selected as Pitcher of the Year. Fellow RedHawk Mia Estrello received the nod as Freshman of the Year while Akron catcher Katie Cantrell garnered Defensive Player of the Year recognition and Ohio pitcher Skipp Miller was named Nan Harvey Sportswoman of the Year.
