Henry, Flannigan and Carney Capture Week 9 Women's Lacrosse Honors

Offensive Player of the Week
Emerson Henry, Eastern Michigan, Attack
Sophomore, Ashburn, Ontario (Donald A. Wilson)

Emerson Henry stuffed the stat sheet for the Eagles as her seven points on four goals and three assists led Eastern to a win over CMU for the first time in program history. Henry, who added two ground balls, four draw controls, and two caused turnovers, tallied her first career ‘double hat trick’ (three goals and three assists), the first of the season for the team, and only the fourth in program history. It also marked her third hat trick of the season and her sixth of her career. Henry reached the 50-goal milestone in the win as she now has 51 in her two seasons with the Eagles and has now scored at least one goal in eight consecutive games this year with her four goals against the Chippewas tying for the 10th-highest single-game total against a MAC opponent. Additionally, she posted a career high in assists with three, surpassing the two she recorded three times prior, most recently at Detroit Mercy (March 19).

Defensive Player of the Week
Mackenzie Flannigan, Youngstown State, Defender/Midfielder
Junior, Peterborough, Ontario (St. Peter’s)

Flannigan tied a season-high with seven ground balls while also causing a season-high five turnovers in Saturday's victory over Detroit Mercy. Her GB season total is now up to 44 after Saturday's contest, which is a new program record. She also had three draw controls and dished out her first assist of the season vs. the Titans.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Lucy Carney, Robert Morris, Goalkeeper
Freshman, Newton, Pa. (Council Rock North)

Carney posted 11 saves in the Colonials 8-5 win over Kent State, which is the second most this season for Carney in goal.
