MAC Announces Week 10 Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

Offensive Player of the Week
Sienna Hinchcliffe, Akron, Attack
Junior, Rochester, N.Y. (Aquinas Institute)

Sienna Hinchcliffe turned another stellar effort for the Zips registering a six-goal, four-assist and 10-point effort on the strength of a career-best 12 shots, including 10 on goal, in a 16-6 win at Robert Morris. It marked Akron's first-ever regular season triumph at Robert Morris. She also corralled a game-high three ground balls to go along with posting a pair of caused turnovers and draw controls. She has now posted 10 or more shots and four goals or more in four straight games, including three consecutive league tilts. With her effort at Robert Morris, she now owns the top two single-game goal marks in league play in the MAC with a 10-shot and four-goal performance at Robert Morris and a seven-goal and seven-assist outing against Detroit Mercy. She averages 5.2 goals and 10.2 shots per contest in five league games.

Defensive Player of the Week
Bridget Valentine, UMass, Defender
Junior, Massapequa Park, N.Y. (Massapequa)

Bridget Valentine delivered a pair of career performances across two games, totaling seven groundballs and nine caused turnovers. In Saturday’s 14-4 win over Eastern Michigan, she recorded four groundballs and a career-high seven caused turnovers, a mark tied for the fifth most by any player in NCAA Division I this season and the highest by a UMass player since Audra Tosone on April 8, 2023, against Duquesne. Valentine anchored a defensive unit that held Eastern Michigan scoreless for the final 27:57 and to its lowest goal output of the season, as well as its lowest regular-season total since 2024. She followed that effort with three groundballs, two caused turnovers, and an assist in Tuesday’s 20-9 win over Columbia. Valentine has now posted multiple caused turnovers in five of her last six games and nine times this season. She leads the team with 31 caused turnovers, a total that ranks among the national leaders and already sits 10th in program history.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Leila Kahler, Central Michigan, Goalkeeper
Senior, Spring Lake, Mich. (Spring Lake)

Leila Kahler turned in a standout week in goal, highlighted by a career-high .625 save percentage in a hard-fought MAC win at Youngstown State. She followed with a .523 save percentage across the week, which included a matchup against a Power Five opponent. The performance was anchored by a season-high 13 saves against Southern Cal, along with 10 saves against Youngstown State—marking her fifth double-digit save effort of the season and second of the week.
