Boule, Suder Tabbed Scholar Athletes of the Week

The Scholar Athlete of the Week Award is presented to a MAC male and/or female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during that week's competition. An institution can nominate up to one male and one female student-athlete per week in any of that current season's sports. The winners are selected by a representative of the MAC's Faculty Athletics Representatives (FARs).

Week’s Achievements (detailed description of week’s events): Boule claimed the MAC title in pole vault with a mark of 3.95 meters at last weekend’s Indoor MAC Championships. This was Boule’s third jump of at least 3.95 meters in the past five weeks, and she now owns four MAC medals in pole vault between indoor and outdoor competition.

Week’s Achievements (detailed description of week’s events): Peter Suder helped No. 21 Miami keep its undefeated season alive with a pair of strong performances this week, as the RedHawks defeated Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan on the road. In 31.7 minutes per game, Suder averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal. He also shot 13-of-26 (50%) from the field over the two games. The senior totaled 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in a 74-64 win against the Eagles Tuesday night. Suder followed this up with 18 points, three rebounds and one steal in a 69-67 victory over the Broncos Friday evening.
