Shooting above 70 percent from the field and 88 percent from deep, Shammah Scott was a decisive factor in the Akron Zips' 2-0 week. Scott went 12-of17 (.706) from the field and 8-of-9 (.889) from deep this past week. Against Kent State on Friday, he went a perfect 5-of-5 from long range, along with a spotless 4-of-4 from the free throw line, to contribute to a 23-point outburst to lead the Zips to a 92-70 victory over the Golden Flashes on national television. Tuesday saw Scott drop 13 points on a 5-of-8 shooting night that included a 3-of-4 mark from deep. He also added two rebounds and three assists in a 99-85 win over Buffalo.
