East Division Wrestler of the Week
Logan Messer, 174 lbs., George Mason
Logan Messer had another phenomenal weekend with two big wins over nationally ranked competitors who had both qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships. Friday, he knocked off the returning MAC Champion and nationally ranked Enrique Munguia of Rider. He took the match with a 4-1 decision. He turned right around Sunday with a familiar opponent in Avery Bassett of Lock Haven. Bassett beat Messer twice last season, including the MAC Conference consolation semifinals.
