Luciana Alvarado-Reid won beam (9.900) and floor (9.900) in leading Central Michigan to victory over Kent State. Alvarado-Reid is now at seven career beam titles and 13 career floor titles. In the all-around, she claimed her 23rd career title with a 39.400. Nationally, she is ranked 21st on bars, 24th in the all-around and 28th on floor—the highest-ranked MAC gymnast in all three disciplines.

Junior Ashley Szymanski earned two more individual event victories in Ball State’s league win over Eastern Michigan Sunday, raising her season total to nine (5 on bars and 4 on beam). She started by tying her own mark for the league’s best bars score at 9.950, winning the event by .100. She followed by tying the league’s best beam score at 9.900, also tying with teammate Delaney McMahon for the event win.
