Singles Player of the Week
Ella Faessler, Senior, Massachusetts
On a 2-0 week for UMass, Ella Faessler went 2-0 in singles competition. Faessler earned a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(4) win at No. 1 over Boston University’s Gabriella Mikayla, one of the best in the region, to help the Minutewomen to a 5-2 victory on Saturday. She also came away with a 7-5, 6-0 win at the No. 2 slot over Hofstra, aiding Massachusetts to a 7-0 sweep on Sunday afternoon.

Doubles Team of the Week
Matilde Parreira / Sabrina Tolstova, Eastern Michigan
The Eagle duo of Parreiro and Tolstova won both of their matches at No. 2 doubles on the road with both wins securing the doubles point as well. They opened the weekend with a 6-4 win at DePaul before claiming a 6-3 win at Butler. The duo secured the clinching point for the third and fourth times, respectively, grabbing half of the team’s eight double points this dual season. They lead the team in doubles wins with 11 on the year, including seven in dual play.
