Charlie Behner, Senior, Kent State

Charlie Behner delivered a dominant three-event performance for the Kent State Golden Flashes at the February 8, 2026, tri-meet held at Worthen Arena in Muncie, Indiana, leading her team to a second-place finish with a score of 194.650. Behner tied for first place overall on vault with an outstanding 9.850, sharing the top spot with Illinois State’s Savannah Ray. She continued her exceptional day on uneven bars with a 9.875, which tied her for second place overall. Behner capped off her stellar performance by tying for first place on floor exercise with a 9.875, sharing the top honors with Ball State’s Ava Molina and teammate Heidi Schultz. Her remarkable ability to score 9.850 or higher on all three events she competed, including two event titles and a runner-up finish, proved instrumental in Kent State’s competitive showing against Ball State and Illinois State.

Lia Kmieciak, Graduate Student, Central Michigan

Graduate student Lia Kmieciak took home both the uneven bars (9.950) and vault title (9.825) against Eastern Michigan; her eighth career bars title and ninth career vault title. Kmieciak’s mark on bars was a new career high and moved her into third in the CMU record book. Her scores were key to a top ten bars team score in CMU history and a win over Eastern on Sunday.
