Omaha Men's Tennis finished day one of the ITA Central Regional on Wednesday afternoon. 

Nine Mavericks opened the day in the qualifying draw. Early in the day, junior Eloi Roux won 7-5, 6-1 over Drake's Adan Tarquina. Junior Kaden Taylor beat Drake's Alex Yeager, 6-1, 6-3. Senior Pavan Uppu secured his own win over a Drake opponent with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Ulysse Verrando. Senior Kristian Thomas defeated Oral Roberts' Jack Berry 6-4 in the first set before winning the second set by the same margin to win the match. Senior Christian Trevey logged a 7-5, 6-4 win to beat ORU's Scott Houben.

Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026
Senior Christian Trevey recorded a win in the opening round of the main draw after battling Creighton's Mathis Dahler to three sets. Dahler won the first set 6-3, but Trevey evened the score by winning the second by the same margin. He closed the match with a 6-1 win in the third set. 

In doubles, sophomore Maddox Lundell and senior Pavan Uppu secured a spot in the round of 16 with an 8-2 opening win over Drake's Alan Gonzalez and Samuel Melaga. The duo then fought and defeated Nebraska's Aniss Rafiq and Calin Stirbu by a razor-thin margin, 8-7(3).

In the consolation draw, sophomore Maddox Lundell defeated Oklahoma State's Iian Hediger 6-3, 6-2. Junior Eloi Roux defeated Creighton's Neil Saxer 6-3, 6-3. Senior Christian Trevey's time in the main draw came to an end with a 6-4, 6-1 loss to No. 81 Luciana Emanuel Ambrogi out of Oklahoma. 

In doubles, senior Pavan Uppu and sophomore Maddox Lundell put up a fight against the No. 2 doubles team in the country, to fall 8-6 to Oklahoma's Luciana Emanuel Ambrogi and Johan Alexander Rodriguez Rodriguez.
