Lucas Kapusta, 149 lbs., Lock Haven
Lucas Kapusta led Lock Haven to a perfect 2-0 week with dominant victories over Binghamton (27-9) and Princeton (28-6). Kapusta, ranked No. 23 at 149 pounds, earned an upset victory over Princeton's No. 9 Elijah Rivera with a 5-2 decision. Kapusta also earned a decision vs. Binghamton to improve to 13-3 on the year. 

West Division Wrestlers of the Week
Blake West, 125 lbs., Northern Illinois
Blake West claimed a first-place finish for the Huskies wrestling program at the annual Midlands Championships at 125 pounds on December 30. In the championship match, West battled against Tyler Chappell of Pitt, holding a late charge off for a 6-5 decision win. West claimed wins over Iowa State’s Christian Castillo, Franklin and Marshall’s James Garcia, and Indiana’s Ayden Bollinger. The No. 2 seed in the tournament, he won all four of his matches by decision, including a sudden victory win over Castillo in the semifinals. In national polls, West holds three top-25 rankings as the Huskies prep for the NWCA National Duals.
