Javontae Campbell erupted for the Falcons, leading BGSU to an overtime victory against UMass while playing all 45 minutes of action. Campbell tallied 47 points in the game, the most by a MAC player since 2017-18, the most points by a Falcon on the road in program history, the most overall by a Falcon since 1964 and tied for the fifth-most overall in program history. Ending the first half and into the second half, Campbell scored 16 straight points for the Falcons. Campbell also went 20-for-27 from the line in the game, tying the program record for free throw attempts in a game while his 20 made game two shy. Of his 20, three came as the tying points to force overtime in the contest. On top of his 47 points, Campbell led the team in assists as well with eight while adding six rebounds to fill out his stat line. As for the game against Miami (OH), Campbell posted 16 points for the Falcons to go along with four assists, four rebounds, three steals and a block.
