CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Friday morning the results of the 2026 MAC Gymnastics Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's seven head coaches. The Central Michigan Chippewas were selected as Regular Season Champions favorites in 2026 after garnering 33 total points, while the Kent State Golden Flashes were next with 31 points after claiming the outright Regular Season crown last year. The Ball State Cardinals and Eastern Michigan Eagles then came in directly after with 23 points apiece.

Central Michigan and Kent State each received three votes to emerge as 2026 MAC Tournament Champions, while the Western Michigan Broncos garnered a Tournament Champion vote of their own.

A total of 14 student-athletes were also selected by MAC head coaches as 2026 Gymnasts to Watch. The 2026 MAC Gymnastics season officially begins on Sunday afternoon with Western Michigan in action, and continues next weekend with four more teams starting their campaigns!
