DJ McGee, 157 lbs., George Mason
George Mason wrestler DJ McGee led the Patriots at the David Lehman Open with a second-place finish at 157 pounds. The tournament featured 434 competitors from more than 30 teams competing at the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center on the Franklin & Marshall campus. Top-seeded McGee (157) won five straight matches, including three with bonus points, before earning a spot in the championship. In the title match, McGee battled second-seeded #22 Kai Owen but dropped the match by fall. The junior improved to 14-2 on the season.

West Division Wrestler of the Week
Markel Baker, 133 lbs., Northern Illinois
Markel Baker, who holds the No. 28 ranking in the Intermat poll, went 5-0 over the weekend as the Huskies took fourth at the 2026 NWCA National Duals. Baker opened his weekend with a technical fall win over Harvard’s Coleman Nogle before defeating fellow-MAC competitor No. 33 Andrew Austin via major decision. In the Huskies’ dual against No. 8 South Dakota State, Baker posted a 4-2 decision over Cale Seaton. Baker added his second win by major decision, defeating Campbell’s Logan Heil before posting a 5-1 decision over Drexel’s Kyle Waterman. With the wins, Baker improves to 16-4 on the season.
