Kaylin Herbet, Junior, Miami
Kaylin Herbet had a dominant weekend at Oakland, against Oakland University and Denison University. She finished first in the 50 free (22.93), the 100 free (49.84), and the 200 free (1:48.78), posting season-best times for each. Additionally, she participated in three relays, helping the RedHawks take first place in the 200 free relay, the 400 free relay, and the 400-medley relay. Herbet recorded times of 22.49 in the 200 free relay (Anchor leg), 49.17 in the 400 free relay (Anchor leg), and 54.10 in the 400-medley relay (fly leg).
Diver of the Week
Adele Melamud, Freshman, Buffalo
Adele Melamud won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events in the Bulls win over Duquesne. The freshman earned first place in the three-meter with a score of 315.38 to open the meet. Melamud doubled back to win the one-meter event with a personal best score of 279.38. The freshman secured 18 points for the Bulls with the two event wins.
