Luciana Alvarado-Reid won all-around (39.200), bars (9.925) and floor (9.900) in leading Central Michigan to victory in its season-opening tri-meet with SEMO and Fisk. Alvarado-Reid, who placed fourth on vault, is ranked sixth nationally on bars, 17th on floor, and 24th in all-around. She is the highest-ranked MAC gymnast in all three disciplines.

Zoe Middleton, Senior, Ball State

Senior Zoe Middleton shined in her 2026 debut, winning the beam title with a career-high tying score of 9.900 Sunday in Ball State's annual Squishmallows Day competition. The effort currently stands at the best beam score in the MAC this season and ranks 21st nationally. Middleton also tied for third on bars, with a score of 9.825, helping the Cardinals earn a head-to-head non-conference victory over Western Michigan.
