Four members of the University at Buffalo men's tennis team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Senior
Daniils Snaiders and junior
Theodoros Mitsakos earned the honor for the second straight year while seniors
Clement Mainguy and
Faiz Nasyam earn the recognition for the first time in their careers.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and they must have reached sophomore athletic eligibility with at least one full calendar year completed at his/her current institution.
Snaiders, a communication major with a 3.61 GPA, finished his decorated career as the program's all-time leader in doubles wins (70) while also ranking in the top 20 in career singles victories. Snaiders recorded 18 singles victories, including back-to-back clutch victories at the MAC Tournament, as a senior while adding 21 doubles victories, primarily at the first position.
A communication major with a 3.617 GPA, Mitsakos earned postseason honors for the second straight year as he was named to the All-MAC Second Team after tying a career-high with 17 singles victories, primarily at the first position, while also recording a career-best 19 doubles victories, including 10 with partner Mainguy, good for second best on the squad. With this successful junior campaign, Mitsakos moved into a tie for 18
th in program history in career singles wins (49) and doubles victories (44).
Mainguy, who maintains a 4.0 GPA and will graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration, made an immediate impact in his first season in the blue and white, compiling 16 singles wins, including back-to-back wins in the MAC Tournament and several clinch points in league play, and 11 doubles victories while earning MAC Player of the Week three times.
A business administration major with a 3.596 GPA, Nasyam put together a stellar campaign in his first season with the Bulls, leading the team with 24 singles victories, while adding 15 doubles wins, including an 8-1 mark with partner
Emiliano Jorquera at the third position.

Sam Klein of NIU men's tennis has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team released Tuesday, May 13.
To be eligible for the CSC honors an athlete must play in 70% of their teams' matches and have a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Sam Klein, a sophomore from Elm Grove, Wis., posted an impressive 3.841 GPA while majoring in finance. Klein played in 21 duals at No. 2 doubles and played 12 matches in singles play. Klein earned nine wins in doubles play in 2025.

Matias Olivero and
Charlie Snow have been named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Olivero is earning his second academic all-district honor, while Mackey and Snow are first-time honorees. Olivero and Snow also earned Academic All-MAC accolades on Monday.
Snow carries a 3.92 GPA as a finance major, Mackey boasts a 3.73 GPA as a marketing major, and Olivero owns a 3.61 GPA as a finance major.

Drew Evans were all named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count). An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
Arzhankin earns the honors for the third time of his career with a 3.82 GPA in computer science. Pierce earns the honors with a 3.88 GPA as a graduate student in finance. Adesoro and Evans are first-time honorees, with Adesoro boasting a 3.63 GPA in supply chain management and Evans with a 3.87 GPA in sales and business marketing.
