CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2025 Women’s Tennis All-MAC First- and Second-Team selections and the Specialty Awards winners on Tuesday. The announcement previews the upcoming conference tournament in Toledo, Ohio on April 24-25.
Miami’s Catherine Denysiewicz-Slowek was named MAC Player of the Year, after posting an undefeated 10-0 MAC singles record from the top court. The senior RedHawks won the inaugural MAC Women’s Tennis Fall Individual Championship singles bracket and earned an automatic entry into the main draw of the 2024 ITA Conference Masters Tournament.
Ricardo Rosas was named MAC Coach of the Year after leading Miami to a 9-1 conference record and earning the program’s 24
th MAC Regular Season Championship in program history.
Toledo’s Jacklynka Scholten earned MAC Freshman of the Year honors following her breakout record of 23-5 (9-0 MAC) in singles play and 13-11 (6-3 MAC) on the doubles court.
Western Michigan’s Lola Glantz is the recipient of the Leann Grimes Davidge Sportsmanship Award, posting a 15-17 singles and 13-15 doubles record.
