CLEVELAND, Ohio – A total of 47 Mid-American Conference women’s basketball student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 Women’s Basketball Academic All-MAC Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday. 

Bowling Green and Toledo each had a conference-best seven student-athletes on this year’s team. Kent State, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan placed six honorees, while Miami had four student-athletes represented. 

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and any transfer in their first year of residence were not eligible for the award.
