CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference women’s basketball matchup between Ball State and Kent State on Saturday, Feb. 22 will be broadcast live on ESPNU, as announced by the conference office Tuesday. Tip-off from Muncie, Ind. inside Worthen Arena is slated for 12 p.m. ET.
Ball State has opened conference play 10-0 for the second straight season and is currently on a 12-game winning streak. The Cardinals have not lost a game since Dec. 10 and currently hold the best NET ranking of any MAC women’s basketball program (60).
Kent State has won five games in a row and sits tied for second in the MAC standings with an 8-2 conference record. The Golden Flashes captured the 2023 MAC Tournament Championship last season before going on to make their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002.
The two teams previously met this season on Jan. 15 in Kent, with Ball State posting a 66-57 victory. Lachelle Austin led the Cardinals with 17 points, while Alex Richard ended the night with 16. Ally Becki and Grace Kingery each tallied 10 points apiece.
