After some early back-and-forth action, free throws and a layup from Eian Elmer got the RedHawks going at 10-7. A pair of triples from Luke Skaljac and Waltz stretched Miami's lead to 19-9 with six minutes of action played. Two layups and a turnaround jumper from Evan Ipsaro stretched the RedHawk advantage to 28-11 with under 9:44 remaining in the first half.
A steal from Peter Suder that led to him scoring a transition layup gave the Red and White its first 20-point lead of the night at 31-11. Trey Perry crossed over his defender for a layup, and Suder knocked down a shot from behind the arc to keep the RedHawks in control at 38-15. Free throws and a floater from Atlason, as well as a layup and three from Skaljac, pushed the score to 49-24 with 2:36 before the intermission. Ipsaro closed out the first half with two layups to enter the break with a 53-24 lead.
Byers began the second half with two threes, and Woolfolk added a three of his own to increase the scoring gap to 64-26. Tyler Robbins found Waltz running down the middle of the lane for a two-hand slam dunk at 79-37 with 12:17 to go.
Woolfolk stole the ball and took it down the court for a powerful one-hand dunk to make it 87-43.
