Donahue Named Week 2 Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Sophomore Johnea Donahue led the Falcons in scoring, assists and steals last week, while ranking second on the team in assists. Donahue shot 52% from the field and 92% from the free-throw line and averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals in road games vs. Wisconsin and Marquette. She set career bests in both scoring (24) and assists (6) against UW, adding six rebounds and six steals while going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. She had a BG-best 16 points vs. Marquette, going 6-for-11 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the line. Donahue is currently tied for the MAC lead in both steals and steals per game.
