Mary Clare Brusek made it 11 straight matches with double-digit kills over the weekend, totaling 38 (3.80/set) on a .378 hitting percentage and accumulating a total of 44.0 points (4.40/set) in WMU's two wins over Bowling Green. The senior paced the Bronco attack in both victories, starting with 15 kills and six blocks (1 solo, 5 assists) for a total of 18.5 points in Friday's reverse sweep of the Falcons. She followed that up with a career-high 23 kills on a blistering .526 hitting percentage in Saturday's come-from-behind, five-set victory.

Leading the Zips' defensive efforts, Vanessa Del Real notched 47 digs (5.22 per set) as the Blue and Gold claimed a pair of wins over NIU. Del Real started the week with 26 digs, one kill and four assists on Friday, while adding 21 digs, five assists, and two aces on Saturday. Del Real currently ranks 1st in the MAC for total aces (37), 2nd in aces per set (.44), 3rd in digs per set (3.05) and 5th in total digs (322).
Setter of the Week
Keelyn Muell, Central Michigan
Keelyn Muell guided Central Michigan’s offense with precision in a weekend sweep at Kent State. The junior setter averaged 10.57 assists per set across seven sets, totaling 74 assists while directing an attack that hit a combined .294 over the two matches - highlighted by a team .320 attack percentage on Friday night.
Muell also added eight digs, four total blocks, and two service aces, showcasing her all-around court awareness and defensive reliability. Her ability to distribute the ball efficiently and keep CMU’s offense balanced was instrumental in the Chippewas’ back-to-back conference victories.
