Wyatt Henson, Lock Haven, Redshirt-Junior
The Bald Eagles had a monster weekend at the Davison Duals, earning victories over Brown (26-10), The Citadel (33-6), and Morgan State (53-0). Leading the way for The Haven was standout Wyatt Henson, who went a perfect 3-0 on the day with two tech falls. Henson won by decision against Brown, before picking up a 21-5 tech fall against The Citadel and 16-1 tech fall against Morgan State. Henson improved to 15-4 overall on the season. With the sweep, Lock Haven improved to 7-5 in duals on the year.
 
West Division Wrestler of the Week
Mason Shrader, Central Michigan, Redshirt-Junior, 149 lbs.
Central Michigan 149-pounder Mason Shrader scored bonus points in winning two matches in helping the Chippewas win their MAC-opening dual meets over the weekend. Shrader, a redshirt junior who is ranked fourth in the MAC, posted a 17-8 major decision victory over Collin Arch in CMU’s 29-11 victory over Northern Illinois, and he then posted a 19-4 technical fall over Connor Saylor in the Chippewas’ 29-10 victory over Cleveland State. Shrader, who is ranked 25th nationally by InterMat and 30th by FloWrestling, is 15-6 on the season, scoring bonus points in five of his wins.
