MAC Announces First Volleyball Players of the Week

MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Katrin Trebichavska, Buffalo, Outside Hitter

Katrin Trebichavska led the Bulls offensively at the Buffalo Invite over the weekend. The Bulls went 3-0 with victories over Oakland, Hampton, and Army West Point. The fifth year outside hitter tallied 68.5 points on 57 kills, 11 aces, and one block assist. Her 26.0 points and 21 kills against Hampton are MAC-highs on the season. Against Hampton, she hit .429 with 21 kills and six errors on 35 attempts. Overall, she finished with a .331 hitting percentage and 33 digs. She added double-doubles against Oakland and Hampton. Trebichavska averaged 5.18 kills per set, 1.00 aces per set, 3.00 digs per set, and 6.23 points per set. She earned Buffalo Invite All-Tournament MVP honors as the Bulls went a perfect 3-0 to start the season.
 
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Hannah Langton, Central Michigan, Libero 

Freshman libero Hannah Langton made the most of her debut in the Maroon & Gold over the weekend tallying 64 digs – highlighted by 34 in her first-ever match against Lindenwood. Her 34 in that match are the most by a freshman Chippewa since 2016. Langton served as the defensive glue with her digs and a .939 reception percentage, adding 19 assists on the weekend.
 
MAC Setter of the Week
Logan Case, Western Michigan, Setter

Logan Case had a pair of double-doubles, handed out 144 assists (12.00/set), and registered 39 digs (3.25/set) to help the Broncos to a pair of wins over the weekend. She started by nearly recording a double-double (41 assists, 8 digs), in the season-opening win over LMU, who like the Broncos, was receiving votes in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Preseason Poll. Case then had 48 assists and 10 digs in Saturday's victory over Loyola Chicago before wrapping up the weekend with 55 assists and a career-high 21 digs against Clemson. It was the first 20/20 performance by a Bronco since November of 2022.
