Akron freshman Bismack Kipchirchir turned in a strong performance in his Zips' debut, crossing the line in a career-best time of 24:29.5 in the men's 8K at the We Fly Ball State Championship Preview on Saturday. Hos performance led Akron to a second-place finish in the men's team field.
