Freshman Veronika Kedronova shot a one-over 217 to lead the Kent State Women's Golf team to a sixth-place finish at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational over the weekend. Kedronova shot a first-round 70 and held the top individual score through the first round. She played the second round even and in the third round she carded a 75 to finish as the Flashes' top individual and tied for fourth overall. She helped lead Kent State to a sixth-place finish as the only non-Big Ten team in the event.

Junior Sabrina Langerak led the Ball State women’s golf team to the Lady Jaguar Invitational title by turning in a runner-up finish among the 77-golfer field with a final tally of +3 (147). It was just one stroke off the winning pace and led all 22 Mid-American Conference golfers in the field.

After firing an opening-round -1 (71), tying her second lowest round of the season, she followed with a +4 (76) over her final 18 holes of the 36-hole event. Langerak led the field in par 3 average, playing those four holes at the Plum Creek Golf Club at a combined -2 (2.75 average).

She tied for the tournament lead with seven total birdies, including six on the opening day. Langerak also carded 21 pars over the two-day event, finishing the tournament with 28 of her 36 holes at-or-below par.

Freshman Zoe Luebbers led the Bobcats to their best finish as a team this season, while also marking the best finish of her freshman campaign. Luebbers placed in a tie for third just two strokes behind the leader, while Ohio finished one stroke off the lead in second place. She opened the two-round tournament with a score of 74 (+2). Luebbers was able to get off to such a strong start with three impressive birdies. She entered the second day in a tie for sixth, before shooting a 75 (+3) to jump into the tie for third. Luebbers was impressive on the day recording one of four eagles by all competitors and her fourth birdie of the tournament. Overall, Luebbers was tied for second in Par 4 scoring (4.10, +2), tied for fifth in Par 5 scoring (4.75, -2), tied for tenth with four birdies, and tied for seventh with 23 pars.
