Singles Player of the Week
Catherine Denysiewicz-Slowek, Miami, Junior
Catherine had a very strong week in the No. 2 singles spot winning both of her matches. On Friday she beat NIU, 6-1, 1-6, 7(7)-6(5) and Sunday she defeated the University of Buffalo 6-3, 2-6, 6-4. Both of Catherine's wins helped Miami pick up two road wins this week.
 
Doubles Team of the Week
Erika Dimitriev/Nataly Ninova, NIU, Junior/Sophomore
Erika Dimitriev and Nataly Ninova clinched the doubles point for NIU in its 4-3 win over Western Michigan with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. The duo was also leading Miami's No. 2 team, 6-5, when that point was clinched.
