Emilia had a strong weekend, as she won her singles match at the number four spot against Marshall University on Friday, 6-3, 7-5. She continued her success on Saturday against Virginia Tech where she played in the three spot and won, 6-1, 6-2. This weeks wins bring her to 6-1 on the season for singles.
 
Doubles Team of the Week
Daniella Shved / Prerna Vichare, Eastern Michigan, Sophomore/Junior
With the doubles matched tied a 1-1 and trailing, 5-4, the team of Daniella Shved and Prerna Vichare dug deep and reeled off three consecutive games won to take a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles and clinch the doubles point for the Eagles against Cleveland State. It marked the second consecutive win for the pair and the second consecutive point-clinching victory after they won, 6-3, one week prior to secure the doubles point against Ferris State at the No. 1 position in the second dual of a doubleheader.
