Singles Player of the Week
Shalini Tallamraju, Toledo, Senior
Toledo faced two of its toughest opponents this weekend in Morgantown, W. Va. against West Virginia and William & Mary. Senior Shalini Tallamraju took a 6-4, 6-3 win on the No. 5 court almost immediately after WVU had already clinched the match point on Friday night. The next afternoon, Tallamraju won on the No. 5 court to tie the match at 3-3 vs. the Tribe, and Toledo went on to upset the CAA Champions 4-3 after a 4 1/2-hour match.
 
Doubles Team of the Week
Ambre Amat/Esmee Andresen, Buffalo, Fifth Year/Junior
Ambre Amat and Esmee Andresen came up big this weekend as they won two matches at the first doubles position to lead Buffalo to doubles point wins in victories over Duquesne and Niagara on Friday. They earned a hard-fought 7-5 win over the Dukes before cruising to a 6-2 win over Niagara in the nightcap. Both players also went a perfect 2-0 in singles action on the weekend.
