Miami's Gonzalez Earns Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors

Enjulina Gonzalez averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, helping the RedHawks to a 2-1 record. She connected on 24-of-50 (48%) field goals and was 9-of-16 (56.3%) from long range for the week. She had 18 points and five rebounds against Purdue, 19 points and three assists in a win over George Washington and posted 29 points and four rebounds in a win against Florida International. She was named to the All-Tournament Team after her contests versus GW and FIU.
